Rhemalee Wint-Lewis serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Finance for the Nyan-ko-pong Sovereign
Maroon Government overseeing key aspects of the nation's financial management, including strategic
planning, fiscal policy implementation, revenue administration, and budget oversight. She plays a vital
role in shaping economic policies, ensuring effective resource allocation, and fostering sustainable
economic growth.
She holds a diverse and comprehensive educational foundation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing Lower Second Class honours, complemented by a Master’s in Business Administration. She has
also completed a Level 5 certification in Human Resource Management from HEART NSTA Work Force
Development, complemented by a Bachelor degree in Business Administration concentration in
Accounting Lower Second Class honours. Her academic journey includes diplomas and certificates in
business administration, revenue management, and accounting, which underpin her multidisciplinary
expertise. Her academic qualifications in business administration, accounting, and human resource
management provide a strong theoretical foundation in financial management, organizational strategy,
and leadership—essential for guiding national fiscal policies.
Her extensive experience and academic background in business administration, accounting, and human
resource management equip her with strong financial analysis, strategic planning, and organizational
leadership skills—estimated at around 98%. Her practical expertise in revenue collection, compliance,
and financial oversight enables her to analyze complex data critically and implement efficient processes,
representing approximately 95% of her capabilities. Her proven leadership in streamlining operations,
developing staff, and fostering organizational efficiency highlights her effective management skills,

several hats at Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ), where she demonstrated her expertise in fiscal
compliance and revenue collection, having been involved managing audit teams, streamlining processes,
and training staff to enhance efficiency. Currently, she is the National Director of Admission at British
American University’s North American Region, where she leads academic admissions, strategic
outreach, and institutional development.
Leveraging her extensive background in financial management, auditing, and strategic leadership, she
aims to enhance the ministry’s capacity to implement sound fiscal policies that support economic
stability and growth. Her vision is to foster transparency, efficiency, and innovation within the nation’s
