Born on May 1967 in the Town of Savanna-la-mar, in the
parish of Westmoreland, Xaymaca. I grew up with
my four siblings, two brothers and two sisters
with me been the last child for my parents. My
father was the pastor for a pentecostal church
and my mom a missionary. I used to sing on the
church choir and was very active in the church.
Although I grew up in Westmoreland, I had my
high school in Maggoty, St Elizabeth. After high
school I migrated to Canada and eventually the
United States.
I returned home to Xaymaca/ Jamaica in
1996 at the age of 29 and landed a job that same
year at a prominent hotel in Negril as a
entertainment coordinator. Where on- stage
singing was my forte. Over the years I worked at
various hotels in the entertainment field as
well as being a gym instructor. In March of 2014
I entered and won the then annual Tastee Talent
Contest, which awarded me a sixty thousand
dollar prize money as well as other occulades.
I
eventually moved out of the hotel circuit and
went into the construction industry where I
took-up the skill of painting as a trade, but
would still do entertainment. Be it at a hotel
or wedding reception, whenever the opportunity
presence itself. Karaoke coordinating is now my
present activity, where small entertainment
venues seek my assistance in formulating their
karaoke events. And so I have no plans to retire
anytime soon from the entertainment industry.
Very best
